Thanks to Homer’s Odyssey, Cyclops is one of the better-known creatures in Greek mythology. What it lacks in good looks and intelligence, Cyclops makes up for with brute strength. Some say it could pluck a tree from the ground and snap it like a toothpick.

  • Scientific Name: Cyclops
  • Characteristics: Truly a muscle-bound giant, Cyclopes were a race of beings with one eye in the center of their foreheads. This lifelike figure reveals the impressive musculature of the mythical Cyclops.
  • Size and Color: At 4 ½ inches, Cyclops stands tall among our other fantasy and mythical figures, as it should. Its realistic garb reveals the finely sculptured muscles of the powerful creature.
  • The Cyclops is part of the Mythical Realms® collection.
  • All of our products are Non-toxic and BPA free.

"I got this cyclops in hopes that it would size up well against 25/28mm miniatures used for roleplaying games. It actually sizes up well when compared to titan figures produced by Wizards of the Coast for their Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures line. The cyclops stands taller than those titans, but not disproportionately so; he's more like a really tall human as compared to average height humans when set up next to the titans. That's fine by me.

The sculpt and paint job looks really good, especially when compared to the RPG minis I mentioned. It's a good value for the money if bought for RPG purposes.

If bought as a toy, this would likely be impressive to a child. It has no points of articulation, though, so some kids might not like that it doesn't bend or can't be posed. It could definitely serve well as an example of a mythological creature, and could further serve as an introduction to the Odyssey.

Overall, this really fits well into a set of miniatures for gaming. Yeah, he's pretty big, but that only inspired me to think of scenarios that would work well with a truly large giant."
