Orang Pendek (Indonesian for "short person") is the most common name given to a cryptid, or unconfirmed animal, that reportedly inhabits remote, mountainous forests on the island of Sumatra.

This cast was found in the province of Jambi near Pauh Tinggi on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It was the first cast obtained by the Orang Pendek Project, a multi-year collaboration between Cliff Barackman and Dally Sandradiputra.
Casts have twine or wire on the back for hanging.
