This Allosaurus footprint was made in muddy soil during the Jurassic Period, at what is now the Copper Ridge Sauropod Track near Moab, Utah. The Allosaurus was one of the most common bipedal carnivores of the area. An average adult measured about 30 feet long and weighed 4 tons.
