Triceratops Replica Frill and skin cast
Dinosaur skin impressions are quite rare. We often find bone, which tells us about the osteology of these ancient animals, however typically the soft parts of the animals decayed and were not preserved. Skin impressions are rare, but when found, and, if carefully prepared, they help us to more accurately envision what they would have looked like in life.
This piece of dinosaur skin is attached to a nice piece of Triceratops frill.
10"X5.5" with skin portion measuring 2".
