Camarasaurus was a genus of quadrupedal, herbivorous dinosaurs and is the most common North American sauropod fossil. Its fossil remains have been found in the Morrison Formation, from the Late Jurassic epoch.

Camarasaurus was a dinosaur in the Jurassic of North America,  It was 60 ft. long & weighed 20 tons. The spoon-shaped teeth had flat surfaces for grinding the conifer needles and twigs which it ate. Both adult and juvenile Camarasaurus skeletons are found in Dinosaur National Monument.
