Dinosaurs egg Oviraptor
This is an exact replica of an oviraptor dinosaur egg. Oviraptors were bipedal predators of the Cretaceous period. Fossil remains of these dinosaurs and their eggs have been found in regions of the Gobi Desert of Mongolia.
This oviraptor egg is perfect on one side, and crushed on the other. Perhaps stepped on by another dinosaur?
Originally discovered by Roy Chapman Andrews and thought to be a Protoceratops egg.
The egg cast is 5 inches (15 cm by 6 cm by 6 cm).
The orginal fossil from which this cast was molded was discovered in Mongolia
Measures: 6 in/15cm.
